The University offers a range of postgraduate opportunities in both coursework and research degrees across the many disciplines and professions represented in the Schools' undergraduate courses.
The culture of the University which differentiates its teaching programs from those in other universities in Australia also brings a special character to the postgraduate experiences. The unique opportunity that the University offers is founded on:
- a welcoming friendly environment achievable only in a small institution;
- small class sizes and high quality programs and lecturers in coursework programs;
- committed, accountable research supervision;
- opportunities to undertake part of both the coursework and research at the University of Notre Dame in the United States;
- access for selected students to scholarships and financial aid; and
- an expanding capability, especially in the areas of education and electronic commerce, to pursue studies externally.
The responsibility for the administration of the postgraduate degrees involves the Deans of the Schools, whose staff teach the courses and supervise research. Interested students may seek advice through either the relevant School or through the Research Office in the first instance. |
